Your plan is based on how many shifts your business runs each month – not how many people are on your books. Cleaners, subcontractors, casuals – it doesn’t matter. If they didn’t work, they don’t count.

What counts as a shift?

Pricing questions, answered

What exactly is a shift?

A shift is one time-and-attendance record — meaning one team member clocking into one site. If two cleaners work the same site at the same time, that counts as two shifts. If a cleaner visits three different sites in a day, that’s three shifts.

What happens if I go over my monthly shift limit?

We don’t cut you off mid-month. If you consistently exceed your plan limit for three months in a row, we’ll reach out and move you up to the next tier on your next renewal date. Occasional busy months won’t trigger a plan change.

Can I estimate my shift count before signing up?

Yes — use the calculator above. Take the number of sites you clean, multiply by the average weekly visit frequency, multiply by the number of cleaners you send per visit, then multiply by 4. That gives you a solid monthly shift estimate.

What are freshOps Tags and TapNTrack Technology?

freshOps Tags are low-cost NFC devices placed at each site. When a cleaner arrives, they tap their phone on the tag — this is what we call TapNTrack Technology. It instantly records a tamper-proof attendance record tied to that exact location. No GPS spoofing, no buddy punching. All paid plans include 20 complimentary tags to get you started. Additional tags are $1.75 each, plus standard postage within Australia.

I’m not based in Australia — does freshOps work for me?

Yes. freshOps is used by cleaning businesses across Australia, New Zealand, the US, UK, Canada, Singapore, and South Africa. Scheduling, rostering, time and attendance, checklists, photo proof of service, and timesheets all work globally. The Payroll features — Payrules Engine, Award Compliance, and Xero Integration — are currently built for Australian businesses only. International payroll integrations are on our roadmap. What is the Payrules Engine and do I need it?

The Payrules Engine automatically calculates penalty rates, allowances, and overtime under the Cleaning Services Award — so your Xero payroll is always correct without manual calculations. If you’re paying cleaners under the Award and processing payroll through Xero, you need it. It’s included in Premier, Master, and Enterprise plans.

I’m running more than 50 shifts but not 200 yet — what plan should I choose?

The Accelerator plan at $100/month is the right move. You’ll have room to grow into your shift allowance, plus dedicated onboarding support to make sure you’re set up properly from day one. Book a demo and we’ll confirm the right fit for your current operation.

Is there an annual payment option?

Can I cancel anytime?
